team. This Manager will report directly to the CEO and COO.

Duties include but not limited to:

Source cost effective components with current vendors and new/potential


Develop new products/formulas with local labs/manufacturers

Quote all components and formulas with vendors to meet target price

Develop cost sheets

Purchase all production components and manage component inventory

Create and maintain a detailed production calendar

Manage fast paced quick to market production process from inception

through to completion

Manager, Supply chain - Commercialization

We are currently looking for a supply chain professional with a passion for skincare and retail.  The ideal candidate will possess a strategic approach to all business activities to provide a positive impact to the department and corporation. This includes but is not limited to margin management and cost of goods strategy to get to desired margin. 


  • Maintaining supplier relations, identifying and vetting additional suppliers, price negotiation and contract facilitation
  • Project Manager for all new global launches as well as regional, QVC, and e-commerce offers
  • Accomplish, maintain, and communicate cogs and conception margins to upper management, cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage and execute QVC QA submission process for all new offers
  • Manage and effectively communicate critical path schedules and any risks to budget, launch timing, and packaging compatibility
  • Manage outside production and scale-up trial activities for various cosmetic/skin care projects Activities will include communication with vendors, sample approval process, negotiations on activities and cost, material shipping and logistics, review of protocols and supplier performance, ensuring quality standards, auditing and visits to 3rd party vendors for trial work oversight
  • Lead and manage all packaging development inititives
  • Drive innovation by presenting new packaging concepts, technologies and delivery systems 
  • Provide a comprehensive feasibility of each concept or package that defines function, manufacturability, component cost, tooling estimates, preliminary development lead time, risk and global consistency.
  • Develop and implement package test plans for all projects
  • Define specifications, design criteria and defect ranges to ensure optimal process flow from manufacture of components through filling and assembly
  • Ensure all projects are completed and meet the intended design, quality, cost, functionality, and manufacturability objectives.
  • Communicate and work closely with all development groups including Global Marketing, Operational Marketing, and Product Development
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field 
  • Extensive experience in sourcing and procurement, at least 5 years; preferably
  • Direct experience in skincare and color cosmetics packaging development, at least 5 years
  • Proven success in identifying and implementation of process improvements in inventory management, control and SOP establishment. 
  • Familiarity with fulfillment and logistical functions is a must. This includes bill of materials, SKU and UPC product management
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or other project mananagement software preferered
  • ERP/MRP experience preferred 
  • Familiar with new product introduction process and component sourcing
  • Familiar with international shipping processes
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and enjoy working in a fast paced, team oriented environment
  • Must be high energy and responsive individual

Product Development Manager

Job Description

This position will lead and manage the product development process from its initial concept through final formula approval.  Product Development Managers work with a variety of large and small customers creating high quality skin, body and hair care products.  Collaborating with our Sales, Product Innovation, Research and Development and Account Management teams, the Product Development Manager is responsible for the following:

  • Create timelines externally and internally for each project, highlighting critical dates and making sure milestones are communicated and achieved.
  • Develop product briefs for the lab, working directly with customers to collect product information, while managing customer expectations, maximizing lab resources and meeting timelines.
  • Determine new product preliminary pricing targets for R&D and track development cogs to meet target. 
  • Evaluate products and become versed in evaluation terminology
  • Create product profiles for customer approved products
  • Work with Regulatory to obtain regulatory documentation for customer product approvals
  • Transition accounts to account management providing detailed information and follow-up to ensure a smooth transition
  • Coordinate preliminary fill weights for customer componentry
  • Assist in developing presentations for our new and existing customers
  • Attend and assist in customer meetings
  • Train on our Epicor system to be able to research information to perform job functions



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business management or Research and Development
  • Minimum 3-5 years proven, results-oriented experience in hair, skin or personal care industry with a solid track record of managing the product development process
